Sonakshi Sinha paid a heavy price while attending a cake cutting ceremony for birthday boy, her ‘Joker’ director Shirish Kunder. Ravishing Sonakshi wanted to wish her director of ‘Joker’, Shirish Kunder, ‘a happy birthday’ sharp at 12 recently but found a loss of diamond solitaire worth Rs. 25 lakhs. It seems she has kept a diamond solitaire in her vanity van and someone smartly walked away with it and naturally Sonakshi is very upset for this loss.
Confirming the theft, source from the crew of the film reveals, “The entire cast and crew of the film, including Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, had planned for a cake cutting celebrations for Shirish’s birthday on the sets of Joker. Since the film is going through a night shoot, it was just apt that the filmmaker’s birthday was brought in on mid-night itself.”
The incident happened when every cast and crew member got together and walked down to wish Shirish Kundre in the midnight. Everyone was busy with the celebration and cake cutting and Sonakshi went to put her costly solitaire in her vanity thinking that it would be safe there. She had no clue that somebody is tracking her move and waiting for the right opportunity.
It was later in the midnight that she realized that her solitaire has gone missing. She along with all crew members started thorough searching but not able to trace the solitaire. Strangely she has not lodge any FIR with the police. Her close friends are saying that she doesn’t want to make any unnecessary hue and cry.
