Industry news is that talented actress Rani Mukherjee is very upset with veteran film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali these dyas. All this have started when Bhansali revealed in an interview that Rani Mukherjee desperately wanted the title ‘Hadippa’ for her movie under Yash Raj Banner and approached Bhansali for the same. But the filmmaker stated that as his sister Bela wanted the same title he refused and explained the situation to Rani.
He further stated “They then added two words, ‘Dil Bole’ with Hadippa and used it as Dil Bole Hadippa (2009). I was upset about it. I thought that wasn’t done.”
After learning this incident from close friends Rani shocked and very much upset as the director dig this old issue and involved her name in this incident.
“Sanjay needs to tell me why he has involved my name, probably because I mediated between Adi (producer Aditya Chopra) and him. I wanted things to happen in an amicable manner, but since they didn’t, Yashraj (producers of Dil Bole Hadippa) did what they had to do,” told an upset Rani. As per Rani she was the actor of that movie and was least bother about the title. Rani said, “This is not my department. An actor only acts. Sanjay is also aware of the fact that it’s never an actor’s prerogative. Yes, as a friend, I tried to mediate, but the final decision was taken by the producers.”
She is confident that Yashraj were right in what they did. “If Dil Bole Hadippa released, Yashraj must have got permission from the concerned authorities to go ahead with it. There are a lot of technicalities involved. You can’t simply take a title,” Supports Rani.
