It seems Bachchans are reaching out to Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and lending a friendship hand again.
On Wednesday night Shah Rukh Khan threw a lavish birthday party for his best friend Karan Johar at his house, Mannat. Whose who of the B-Towners attended that rocking party and the biggest surprise was the presence of Abhishek Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The fall out happend between these two power centres in the industry when Bachchans left out Shah Rukh of the guest list of the couple's wedding four years back. After that a cold war was started and it was very much evident that Big B family is preferring Amir khan more than SRK.
Ash herself had a fall-out with SRK when apparently she was replaced by Rani Mukerji in 'Chalte Chalte', after her then boyfriend Salman Khan had a fierce argument with Shah Rukh on the sets of ‘Chalte Chalte’. After this incident the two have never worked together and are known to have passed on projects that could star them together. But it seems the Khans and Bachchans finally agree to have called it a truce.
But this year Aishwarya took the initiatives to melting the ice and Bachchan couple drove in at around 3 am. It was a big surprise not only for the birthday boy Karan Johar, also it is good for common friends for both the camp who suffered most in this tension. According to a close friend of SRK, Bachchan couple stayed on for close to one-and-a-half hours, leaving at around 4.30, with good friend Goldie Behl.
They realized that they both need each other. As Amir and Salman has tied up against SRK & Bachchans now it is time for both of them to stand by each other. And cleverly Bachchans used the opportunity and stepped forward in this direction. Though Bachchan camp is still maintaining the same status quo, ‘The Bachchans attended the do only because it was also to celebrate filmmaker Karan Johar's birthday.’ However industry is wondering whether this renewal of friendship give tension to the other Khan camp!
